All registrations after Tuesday at 11am will be $20 and you will need to call the Chamber office to register, or you can be a "walk-in" at the luncheon. Online registration and $15 pricing closes at 24 hours before the luncheon.
Refunds will only be made if cancellation is received at least 24 hours in advance. If Members register without paying, but do not attend, you will be invoiced for the $15 because we include you with the headcount for the caterer.

Monthly Networking Luncheon with:
TV News Anchor Derek James of WCCB News Rising
Topic: "The Do's and Don'ts of Media Coverage" How to become an expert, how to pitch and where you should pitch when it comes to getting news coverage for you/your business.
Derek's Bio:
Derek hosts “WCCB News Rising,” a morning news and entertainment show on Charlotte’s CW affiliate. He also writes, produces and hosts “The Snark Report,” a daily entertainment news segment full of satirical commentary.
He has served as a special correspondent for “Anderson Live” and has covered several red carpet events in Hollywood. He was voted “Best Male Anchor” in Charlotte in the 2013, 2014 and 2016 Elevate 008.Magazine “Best of the City” Awards and earned the Best On-Stage Performance Award in 2012. Derek was honored with the 2009 Best Weathercast Award by the Radio and Television News Directors Association of the Carolinas and the 2010 Best Sports Reporting Award for a story on how weather impacts NASCAR teams.
Prior to joining WCCB in 2005, Derek was Assistant Program Director/Music Director/Afternoon Personality for 107.9 The Link and an on-air personality for Star 94 in Atlanta. Derek was also the morning host on Charlotte’s K104.7 in 2007 and 2008.
Derek writes a monthly column for Charlotte Parent Magazine called “Daddy Derek,” full of inspiring, funny and interesting advice from a goofy dad’s perspective.
He actively supports the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina and in 2007 was named their “Media Partner of The Year.” Derek has also served as coach for “Let Me Run,” a non-profit that uses running to teach boys to be courageous enough to be themselves, to build healthy relationships, and to live an active lifestyle.
Derek also donates time to many other non-profits, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Humane Society of Charlotte, The Choir School at St. Peters, the Association of Fundraising Professionals & Hinds’ Feet Farm.
He lives in Matthews, NC with his wife Kristen, sons Tyler and Chase, and a chocolate lab named Dawson.
