The Matthews Community Farmers’ Market is participating in America’s Farmers Market Celebration!

During this time, market shoppers, supporters and community members can vote for their favorite market. In addition to recognizing the top markets in each region of America, the AFMC will crown an overall “People’s Choice” winner as the top-endorsed market in the country.
 

It's time to vote for Matthews Farmers' Market! With your help the farmers market could win part of the $10k prize. Last year the top market won with about 7500 votes. Matthews Community Farmers’ Market (MCFM) is the largest, most diverse producer-only farmers’ market in the greater Charlotte area. All market products, except fish, are grown, raised or made within 50 miles of Matthews. Fish is caught off the NC coast and brought to market by the fisherman. Buying directly from the local producer allows you to know the source of your food and build a relationship with the person or farm family who grows it. You’ll find freshly harvested and organic produce, naturally-raised meats, local honey, plants, artisan foods and hand-crafted items. MCFM proudly offers Double Bucks Match to our SNAP/EBT customers. We are a lively community gathering place in Downtown Matthews to shop, nibble, relax and meet your neighbors. Come enjoy all we have to offer on Saturday mornings, including live music, cooking demonstrations, food trucks, fun contests, giveaways and more!
