Description
Monthly Networking Luncheon
Influencing Perception and Decision Making
With Michael Reddington, CFI
The levels of success executives, managers and small business owners achieve is often predicated on their ability to persuade those around them to commit to taking new courses of action. Their capacity to quickly earn the trust of customers, employees, and business partners can mean the difference between earning a reputation as a community resource and going out of business. Considering the potential impact of every interaction, cultivating the skills necessary to effectively influence others is critical.
Michael Reddington leveraged his experience in the interview room when he created the Disciplined Listening Method to provide executives with the advantages they need to accurately evaluate communication, improve their questioning skills, and quickly connect with and influence their counterparts. The Disciplined Listening Method integrates current business research and best practices with the key components of four non-confrontational interview and interrogation techniques to instill the skills necessary to activate the truth.
What You Will Learn:
Through a combination of interactive discussion, lecture and videos of real interrogations, attendees will walk away with skills and techniques to reduce resistance and increase their influence. These lessons include how CFI’s:
- Create commitment over compliance
- Avoid the most common influencing mistakes
- Leverage all of the verbal and non-verbal communication they observe
- Influence their counterparts to tell the truth
- Optimize resistance they encounter
- Inspire commitment in difficult situations
Executives, managers, small business owners, sales professionals and human resource professionals will all learn lessons they can immediately apply in their professional roles.
Michael Reddington, CFI is the Vice President of Executive Education for Wicklander-Zulawski and Associates. Michael has conducted hundreds of seminars and trained thousands of participants from around the world. He combines his expertise in non-confrontational interview and interrogation techniques and business experience to deliver interactive programs and provide immediate value for attendees. Join the Matthews Chamber of Commerce, and Michael, and learn to use the truth to your advantage.
