What Is the Hometown Holiday Scavenger Hunt?
The Hometown Holiday Scavenger Hunt is an online scavenger hunt using a downloadable app called GooseChase.  Participants are required to complete different tasks to win points.  These points add up to a final number that will determine the winner of our grand prize!

WHY? Through this platform, we are still able to achieve interpersonal communication and business exposure safely under governor orders due to COVID-19.

How will this drive people to my business? Unlike our 1-day Holiday Stroll that was focused primarily in downtown Matthews, this scavenger hunt lasts 16 days and will give exposure to all of our participating businesses located anywhere in Matthews.  This type of hunt will drive customers to your storefront/business/office location or your social media/website, whether it be by making a purchase, taking a selfie, creating a commercial, looking for a secret code, a GPS check in, or doing a fun video at your location.

• Bronze Sponsor: $50 Chamber Members/ $25 Non-Profit Members/ $75 Non-Chamber Members

Logo on Participating Business Flyer. 400-point level task for participants. (Secret code on website or social media channel, or take a selfie in front of business sign.)

Silver Sponsor: $500
Logo on all print and online materials. 500-point level task for participants. (GPS Check In of fun activity or Selfie in front of sign or logo & $10 Purchase.)

Gold Sponsor: $1,000 
Logo on all print and online materials. Logo on "GooseChase" app during entire event. 600-point level task for participants. (GPS Check in/Video with Business Sign/Logo/Statue at property & $25 purchase.)

Logo on all print and online materials. Presenting Sponsor logo on "GooseChase" App during entire 16 Day Event. 1,000 point level task for participants. Ability to send message and special 1- Time additional mission during scavenger hunt to all participants.

Participants will download the free GooseChase App and go on a virtual hunt for businesses and places around Matthews.
 
This interactive app allows you to upload photos and videos of your adventures around town.

The team who earns the most points wins the grand prize, a basket filled with surprises from businesses around Matthews.
