Description: Many of us have been working from home and thinking about the transition back to work can be stressful. Please join us to learn tips for staying safe and resilient while working during COVID-19.

Dr. Karla Lever is a behavioral health specialist, licensed therapist and director of Atrium Health Employee Assistance Programs offered to external employers and internal Atrium Health teammates, covering more than 180, 000 lives.
Dr. Lever earned both her doctorate in counselor education and her Educational Specialist Degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of South Carolina. She has worked extensively in mental health in inpatient and outpatient settings for nearly 20 years and has also performed adjunct duties for graduate programs in clinical mental health and school counseling. She has focused her recent research on compassion fatigue, outcome studies in the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) setting and EAP viability. Her areas of interest and study are employee health and leadership development, with a particular emphasis on emotional intelligence and strategies to increase effective leadership teams.
