Chief Marketing and Communication Officer Charlotte Regional Business Alliance
Rob joined the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance in April 2019 as the organization's first Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. The role was created after the merger of the Charlotte Chamber and Charlotte Regional Partnership to build a cohesive marketing and communications strategy that strongly positions the region and the organization's new mission.
Prior to joining the CLT Alliance, Rob was the Vice-President/Director of Client Engagement at Wray Ward, a strategic communications agency headquartered in Charlotte. In this role, Rob brought his significant client relations experience to the agency resulting $5M gross income growth and new clientele including a top national decorative plumbing brand.
Rob began his career at Nestle in 1989, starting as a management trainee, and later would serve as the lead of Marketing division for Nestle USA's largest brand, Stouffer Entrees. Throughout his successful senior marketing career, he has worked with top consumer brands like Coca-Cola, Glidden, PPG, and Liquid Nails.
He has served on several non-profit boards in his career including the Blumenthal Performing Arts Marketing Committee in Charlotte and Beaumont School and Ronald McDonald House in Cleveland.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from John Carroll University and has an MBA in Finance and Organizational Behavior from Case Western Reserve University.
Rob is a proud dad of three adult children.
You can now register up to 9am the day of the luncheon, but $15 Early Bird Pricing for Members will automatically cut off AT the 24hr mark (11AM THE DAY BEFORE). Monthly Luncheons are $15 for Chamber Members if you register before 24 hours before the luncheon. AT 24hours before, luncheons are $20 for everyone. When registering, Members will see $20 in the registration fee, but you will see a $5 Early Bird Discount immediately after you click on the $20 fee, if you register early enough. AT the 24hour mark (11am the day before), pricing will automatically go to $20 with no discount, so if Chamber Members register for the luncheon at the 24hour mark or later, you will pay $20.
Refunds will only be made if cancellation is received at least 24 hours in advance. If you prepay but cannot attend, call the office before the 24hr mark and we can move your payment to the next lunch, no problem, but you must let us know 24 hours in advance! Thank you!
Lunch Sponsorships sell out quickly, so don't wait to REGISTER for a Lunch Sponsorship. Go to that month's luncheon on our calendar, and register to save your spot. If you try to register as a Luncheon Sponsor, but do not see that as a fee option, we have already sold that month's Lunch Sponsorship. Email dawn@matthewschamber.org for a waiting list if we have a cancellation or to put your name on the list.
