Refunds will only be made if cancellation is received at least 24 hours in advance. If you prepay but cannot attend, call the office before the 24hr mark and we can move your payment to the next lunch, no problem, but you must let us know 24 hours in advance! Thank you!
Lunch Sponsorships sell out quickly, so don't wait to REGISTER for a Lunch Sponsorship. Go to that month's luncheon on our calendar, and register to save your spot. If you try to register as a Luncheon Sponsor, but do not see that as a fee option, we have already sold that month's Lunch Sponsorship. Email dawn@matthewschamber.org for a waiting list if we have a cancellation or to put your name on the list.
Description
Monthly Networking Luncheon
Topic: Inventor, Terry White, presents the story behind MadGab, a game based on idea he had as a teenager and how it's success has led to his latest venture. Learn about the business behind creating a mass market game and the sacrifices required to make a boyhood dream a reality.
Speakers Bio's: Terry White, a rarity in our area, is a true local native. Terry was born in Charlotte, raised in Indian Trail, and married a girl he dated at Sun Valley High School. He met his wife the same spring he had the idea for the game, MadGab, as a high-school sophomore, so she's been a part of MadGab from its very beginning. The two of them attended UNC-Charlotte and married after 1982. They continued to stay in the Matthews area raising their family here, and even have most extended family only an hour away. Terry and his wife share two sons, a daughter, a son-in-law, and daughter-in-law. And in 2020, welcomed their first grand-child. Before Terry created MadGab, he worked for a manufacturer's representative selling manufacturing equipment in the Carolinas.
