Mary Elizabeth Murphy’s book Reset Your Buttons hones in on the importance of the relational essence of today’s work culture.
Right from the beginning, I found myself nodding in agreement throughout this book! Mary Elizabeth presents an ah-ha moment in her prologue sharing “you don’t know everything.” She offers readers a reprieve from perfection with an invitation to explore behavior styles to enhance relationships and empower us to live and work in synergy to our full potential.
Mary Elizabeth’s candid accounts of real-life situations are interspersed with humor to effectively relate to a variety of workplace, home, and group settings. Her practical and easy to apply R-E-S-E-T method guides readers to identify personal triggers, recognize when “buttons are being pushed” to facilitate a more effective response approach. Reset Your Buttons is a must for anyone who desires to build a more unified, productive, and happy work (or home!) team.
