PAYMENT IS REQUIRED WHEN YOU REGISTER. YOU CAN PAY $20 WHEN YOU REGISTER ONLINE (PRIOR TO 24 HRS BEFORE LUNCHEON), OR YOU CAN PAY $25 AT THE DOOR AS A WALK-IN. ONLINE REGISTRATION IS PREFERRED FOR AN EASIER CHECK-IN PROCESS.

$50 Spotlight Table (includes 1 lunch)

$160 for Table of 8, for Chamber Member purchase
$250 Luncheon Sponsorship (includes 4 lunches) - if you do not see this as an option in Registration Fees, then it has been sold for that month.
You can now register up to 9am the day of the luncheon, but $20 Early Bird Pricing for Members will automatically cut off AT the 24hr mark (11AM THE DAY BEFORE). Monthly Luncheons are $20 for Chamber Members if you register before 24 hours before the luncheon. AT 24hours before, luncheons are $25 for Everyone. When registering prior to 24 hours before, Members will see $25 in the registration fee, but you will see a $5 Early Bird Discount immediately after you click on the $25 fee, if you register early enough. AT the 24hour mark (11am the day before), pricing will automatically go to $25 with no discount, so if Chamber Members register for the luncheon at the 24hour mark or later, you will pay $25.
Refunds will only be made if cancellation is received at least 24 hours in advance. If you prepay but cannot attend, call the office before the 24hr mark and we can move your payment to the next lunch, no problem, but you must let us know 24 hours in advance! Thank you!
Lunch Sponsorships sell out quickly, so don't wait to REGISTER for a Lunch Sponsorship. Go to that month's luncheon on our calendar, and register to save your spot. If you try to register as a Luncheon Sponsor, but do not see that as a fee option, we have already sold that month's Lunch Sponsorship. Topic: State of the Town with Mayor John Higdon
Mayor Higdon will provide a State of the Town and update and discuss the latest on transportation projects and development in Matthews.
Speaker: Mayor John Higdon
Speaker Bio:
After serving three terms as Commissioner and two as Mayor Pro-Tem, John Higdon was elected Mayor of Matthews in 2019. He is now serving his second term. John graduated from South Mecklenburg High School and earned a degree in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University. John is a partner in Supply Source Products, a valve and fitting distribution company, and currently serves as Chief Engineering Officer. John and his wife Penny have two grown children, Summer and Jed. The Higdons have resided in Matthews since 2001 and attend Matthews United Methodist Church. John has volunteered extensively in the community including at MARA, Boy Scouts, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, the Ashley Creek Homeowners Association, Men’s Shelter of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County Floodplain Task Force and the Matthews Appearance and Tree and Economic Development Advisory Committees. John currently serves on the Metropolitan Transit Commission (MTC) and Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO).
