Description
A unique workshop tailored just for nonprofits! Matthews Chamber Members and Non Members are welcome to attend!
The success of most non-profit organizations is tied directly to their ability to raise the capital necessary to satisfy their missions. This fundraising process gets complicated when local non-profits outnumber available potential donors. The most successful fundraising professionals are those who establish emotional connections between donors and their fundraising missions, while encouraging donors to align financial commitments with their self- images.
What You Will Learn:
Through a productive combination of interactive discussion, lecture and video reviews attendees will walk away with the skills and techniques necessary to prepare for their next fundraising conversations. These lessons include:
- Strategically prepare to approach and persuade donors
- Effectively influence donors to increase their commitments with the preferred techniques of Certified Forensic Interviewers
- Successfully connect their fundraising mission with their donors self-images
- Quickly leverage the techniques Certified Forensic Interviewers use to optimize donor objections
About The Speaker:
Michael Reddington, CFI is an executive resource and Vice President of Executive Education for Wicklander-Zulawski and Associates and the developer of the Disciplined Listening Method. Michael has conducted hundreds of seminars and trained thousands of participants around the world. He combines his expertise in non-confrontational interview and interrogation techniques and business experience to deliver interactive programs and provide immediate value for attendees and their organization.
Who Should Attend:
Executive Directors, Donor Development Coordinators, Planned Giving Directors and all other fundraising professionals will learn lessons they can immediately apply to their non-profit missions.
This event does include lunch, snacks & beverages.
